With many years of experience in building, bridge, seismic, and foundation design, Robert is a project manager for multidisciplinary projects. He manages teams that produce project contract documents (drawings and specifications) and works in a highly-integrated capacity with the owner, owner’s project manager, and construction managers.
As a practicing structural engineer, Robert has worked on aviation, health care, education, industrial, and commercial projects in Alberta, British Columbia, and in the US. His current work centers around the YVR CORE program at the Vancouver International Airport. It’s a five-year project costing approximately $585M. It’s goal? Enhance user experiences and embrace the principles of sustainability.
Away from work, Robert is improving his Spanish and spending as much time outdoors as he can. He’s also an instrumentalist: trumpet, piano, and guitar. He’s especially fond of Latin rhythms.
